Anse Chastanet is a beach north of the Caribbean island town of Soufrière, located in Saint Lucia’s unspoilt south-west corner, amidst 600 acres of exotic grounds dropping steeply to two quite beautiful bays, you will find an array of accommodation informal in its design, luxurious in its setting and style. Yoga and runs along the shoreline replace intensive, time structured workouts, trade winds replace the hum and blasts of air-conditioning, and an opportunity to harmonise with nature replaces intruding resort entertainment.
The resort has 49 unique rooms, each with ceiling fan, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, shower and a mini-bar including soft drinks. The below room types show a small description of each room category….:
Superior Hillside Rooms are octagonal cottages with wrap-around balconies and Piton/ocean views.
Beachside Rooms are just steps from the beach with garden view and air-conditioning.
Deluxe Hillside Rooms are spacious, with large balcony and ocean and/or Piton views.
Premium Hillside Rooms are in an elevated position with Piton views, some with fourth wall missing for a natural and open style.
There are 3 restaurants and 2 bars in the resort… Firstly the Tree House restaurant (Fine Caribbean dining) and Piton Lounge and Bar which consists of two treehouse open-air structures with a beautiful view of the ocean and the surroundings of the hills. At beach level and right on the water’s edge is the Trou au Diable beach restaurant and bar. Lastly, the Jungle Beach Bar & Grill is located on the second beach of Anse Mamin which is accessible by the resorts shuttle boats.
Anse Chastanet is in the heart of St. Lucia’s a marine reserve that offers fantastic snorkelling and scuba diving right off the shore! Guests can also take part in walking, hiking and bird watching which is organised at the resort itself.
